Amalia Peralta
Director General of Artificial Intelligence at the Buenos Aires City Legislature
Amalia holds a Master’s degree in Urban Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).
She completed a training program at Humboldt University of Berlin. She is an expert in strategic planning, digital transformation in the public sector, and public management, with extensive experience providing technical assistance to local and provincial governments.
She is the author of several publications on the adoption of artificial intelligence by subnational governments in Argentina, including Guide to the Use of AI in Argentina’s Public Sector and (Not Only) AI in Argentina’s Provincial Governments (CIPPEC). She is also co-founder of FederAI, a federal public innovation network focused on interoperability and the coordinated adoption of technology across subnational governments.
