Marisa Andrea Tojo
Undersecretary for Operational Management, Ministry of Finance, Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires
Marisa Andrea Tojo is a Certified Public Accountant from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) with more than fifteen years of experience in public administration. She began her career at the national level and has spent most of her professional career within the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. She started at the National General Accounting Office (Contaduría General de la Nación) and later joined the City Government, where she contributed to the development of the Integrated Financial Management and Administration System (SIGAF), incorporating modules such as Public Works and Price Adjustment, while supporting the modernization of public procurement and contracting processes.
From 2015 to 2025, she served as Director General of Public Procurement and Contracting. During her tenure, she promoted the implementation of international tenders, advanced the City’s open data policy, and led Buenos Aires’ certification by the Open Contracting Partnership, an international organization that recognizes compliance with global standards for openness and transparency in public procurement. She also led Buenos Aires’ accession to the Global Lead City Network on Sustainable Procurement (GLCN) and oversaw the creation of the Women-Owned Business Seal, an initiative aimed at promoting women’s economic empowerment.
Since November 2025, she has served as Undersecretary for Operational Management, where she continues to advance policies focused on transparency, administrative efficiency, and the optimization of resources in the management of public procurement and contracting for the City of Buenos Aires.
