Fernando García Pullés

President of the Argentine Association of Administrative Law (AADA)

He is one of the leading authorities on Administrative Law in the region, advising not only international organizations but also serving as an arbitrator in matters related to Administrative Law, particularly in disputes involving States as parties.

Dr. García Pullés was unanimously declared a “Distinguished Personality in the Field of Legal Sciences” by the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires in September 2019.

He advises a wide range of companies on matters related to administrative litigation, public procurement and public works, gas distribution, energy generation, transmission and distribution, the automotive industry, real estate development, the pharmaceutical sector, and the gaming industry.

He served as Deputy Attorney General of the National Treasury of Argentina and was appointed by the Executive Branch to head the institution.

He also served as an Associate Judge of the National Court of Appeals in Federal Administrative Litigation and currently serves in the same capacity at the Court of Appeals in Administrative and Tax Matters of the City of Buenos Aires.

He is President of the Argentine Association of Administrative Law (AADA) and a member of its Executive Committee.

More recently, he was appointed as an expert witness on Argentine Civil and Commercial Procedural Law in the international arbitration proceedings brought by Chevron Corporation Inc. against the Republic of Ecuador before an international arbitral tribunal in The Hague, the Netherlands.
