Matías López
He has served as a Legislator of the City of Buenos Aires since 2019. Re-elected in the 2023 elections, he was appointed First Vice President of the Buenos Aires City Legislature.
With a Law degree from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Matías worked as a lawyer and also shared his expertise as a professor at UBA. He has experience in the private sector and over 20 years of service in the public sector. His public career includes serving as Secretary of Citizen Development for the Buenos Aires City Government from 2015 to 2019. Previously, he held prominent roles such as Chief of Staff in the National Senate and Director General of Communications at the Ministry of Public Space.
During his tenure, he oversaw the implementation of the container system for waste collection and coordinated the 2018 Youth Olympic Games, among other initiatives.
