Inmaculada Montero Luque

Inmaculada Montero is an economist with twenty years of experience in international trade and public finance within the European Union. She is currently the Economic and Commercial Counsellor at the Delegation of the European Union in Argentina. Previously, she was part of the negotiating team for the European Union-Mercosur trade agreement and served as Economic and Commercial Counsellor at the EU Delegation in Ecuador. Before working for the European Union, Inma worked for several years at the World Bank and for the Government of Spain. Inma holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) at the University of Geneva, and a second master’s degree from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC, under the Fulbright program.
